A rotasonic toothbrush is Relish Tech’s flagship brushing platform. A single servo motor drives a shaft that can swing through selected angles from 0 to 360° or rotate in a full circle. This flexible drive supports sweep, oscillation and sonic vibration, with whitening and polishing actions on the 5-in-1 configuration. This guide explains the technology and compares the two Rotasonic platforms.

Rotasonic combines rotation and vibration through one servo motor. Its drive shaft can swing through selected angles from 0 to 360° or make a full rotation, allowing a rotasonic toothbrush to support several cleaning actions on the same platform. The enabled actions depend on the model and configuration.
The Rotasonic platform combines sonic vibration, sweeping and oscillation, with whitening and polishing on the 5-in-1 model. This range of movements gives brands a clear all-in-one product story and room to build different configurations.
- Sonic. Bristle motion at 31,000 vibrations per minute (VPM) cleans through direct contact and moves liquid and foam around the teeth and gumline.
- Balayage.
- Polish. A full 360° rotation provides a polishing action. The brush head or polishing attachment should match the selected product configuration.
The product pages specify a rotation speed of 900–2,300 RPM and a sonic vibration rate of 31,000 VPM. Rotation and vibration are distinct measurements; together they describe the movement capabilities of the Rotasonic platform.
Rotasonic, Vibrosonic et sonique : comparaison
These platforms use different combinations of movement. Sonic brushes clean through vibrating bristles and the liquid movement they create. Relish Tech’s Vibrosonic platform combines sonic vibration with a 60° oscillation. Rotasonic uses a servo shaft that can swing through selected angles or rotate fully, supporting sweep, oscillation and sonic actions, plus whitening and polishing on the 5-in-1 model.
Illustrative Comparison of the Three Platforms
Research on powered toothbrushes provides useful background. The American Dental Association (ADA) explains that both manual and powered toothbrushes can clean effectively. The 2014 Cochrane review by Yaacob and colleagues found benefits for powered brushing in plaque and gingivitis outcomes. A 2020 review of powered-toothbrush design discusses how construction and use affect performance. These sources address the wider category rather than a clinical evaluation of Rotasonic. For the dual-motion platform, see our guide to Vibrosonic technology.
La gamme de produits Rotasonic
Both Rotasonic configurations include an LCD smart display, a 2,000 mAh battery with a stated runtime of up to 30 days, and an IPX8 waterproof rating. Runtime depends on the brushing settings and usage; the IPX8 specification follows the depth and duration defined for the model.
The practical value of the Rotasonic design is flexibility. Brands can configure enabled actions, mode profiles, displays and finishes around their market and retail positioning. The servo-driven platform supports a range from sweep, oscillation and sonic vibration to the 5-in-1 model with whitening and polishing, giving OEM buyers more than a single fixed specification to work with.
Pour les marques : la plateforme Rotasonic
For OEM and private label buyers, the Rotasonic toothbrush is a distinctive flagship option within the electric toothbrush range. Its combination of cleaning actions and visible LCD features suits brands developing a premium lead product.
On commercial terms, the standard MOQ for customized products is 1,000 units; smaller orders may be discussed case by case. Wholesale orders for in-stock products start at 50 units. Samples ship in 3–7 days, and mass production runs 25–35 days after approval; a one-time mold fee of $500–$3,000 applies only to a new custom casing and is fully refundable once cumulative orders reach 5,000 units within 12 months. The factory is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified with FDA establishment registration, and can supply CE, RoHS, FCC, and UKCA documentation plus EU design-patent coverage for the platform.
Those specifications are measured rather than quoted. Our own reliability laboratory, which has logged more than 450 test items over nine months, verifies the servo-driven motion stroke by stroke on every unit, confirms the sonic vibration rate to a factory specification of 30,000 ± 3,000 strokes per minute, and runs each handle through a 72-hour full-unit life test, immersion testing per GB 4208-2017, and 48-hour salt spray per GB/T 2423.17-2008. The 3.7 V lithium cell in the handle was cycle-tested at 0.5 C to a ≥80 % retention acceptance criterion at 300 cycles and measured 98.6 % of its initial capacity. This result records cell-capacity retention under the stated test conditions. Reports are available on request.
